Male Dog aged 1 year.
Coco is one of a number of collies who were surrendered from a farm due to the ongoing ill health of the farmer, causing the family to realise that they would not be able to cope with the dogs. Coco is a lovely dog with a sweet nature, and although he has not had normal basic domestic training, he is a bright dog and a quick study who is eager to please and keen to learn. We do think he needs a new owner who has had dogs before, ideally collie types, who will be able to help him learn all he needs to know about life.
Coco has not lived with children, so we would not wish to place him with youngsters under 10 years. He has not lived with cats or small pets, but he is used to living and socialising with other dogs of varying ages, and he enjoys their company and would in fact benefit from the reassurance and good example of another calm adult dog.
Coco is the type of dog who will develop into a loyal and rewarding companion for someone with the skill and empathy to help him. He is such a good boy and a very handsome one too! He will need an active and interesting lifestyle, and will need company most of the time.
